The first pool of our bath - its water has been officially certified as medicinal water for now - was built in 1927, as a supplement of the former "soldier house" , which is the Zoltán Nadányi Cultural Centre. The bath was enlarged with 2 new pools in the 1960-70s. In addition to the warm-water "soldier pool" which deepens inwards, the supply of our bath was enriched by a sitting- and relaxing pool with medicinal water and a children's pool.
In 1995, the territory of the open-air bath was supplemented with the imposing building of the swimming pool, in which a 25 meters long circulated pool, a covered sitting- and relaxing pool with medicinal water, a "Finnrelax" sauna, standing and lying solarium, therapeutic and refreshing massages are at the disposal of our guests.
In 2001, Herpály-Team Construction and Service Ltd. had the former "soldier pool" and its surroundings renovated, a new buffet and a cash desk had been built to serve the comfort of those who come to enjoy the benefits of the medicinal water.

As a result of a project granted by the Northern Great Plain Regional Operational Programme, 5 new pools were built, the environment of the bath changed and the bath enriched with several new services in 2009. Thanks to these developments, the new brand of the institute has been formed, and the "Bihar Thermal Park" which offers medicinal water, entertainment and sports facilities has been established.
